Macao’s annual motorsport spectacular, the Suncity Group 63^rd Macau Grand Prix, will be held from November 17-20

一年一度本澳體壇盛事，太陽城集團第六十三屆澳門格蘭披抬大賽車即將在本年11月17日至20日舉行

For the added convenience of spectators and residents, seven additional moveable barrier gates – which are opened as soon as racing activities are concluded each day – will be added, making a total of 140 gates.

澳門格蘭披治大賽車已成功舉辦超過六十年，多年來，組委會一直致力完善賽道的設備和基礎設施。為更方便現場觀眾和市民出行，賽會今年特意新增7組活動閘門，以達至總數140組，於賽事結束後立即開放賽道。

A new temporary pedestrian overpass will be constructed at Lisboa bend to ease entry of the area.

另外，葡京彎位置將新設臨時行人天橋，以優化進出該區的環境條件。

Built in conjunction with the Jesuits from 1617 to 1626, this was the city’s principal military defence structure. The fortress was equipped with cannons, military barracks, wells and an arsenal that held sufficient ammunition and supplies to endure a siege lasting up to two years. The fortress covers an area of 10,000 square metres, in the shape of a trapezoid. The four corners of the fortress protrude to form bulwarks.

大炮台創建於1617年，至1626年建成，名為聖保祿炮台，澳門居民多稱為“大炮台”。炮台佔地約一萬平方米，呈不規則四邊形，是當時澳門防禦系統的核心，構成一個覆蓋東西海岸的寬大炮火防衛網。

The Macao Museum is a historical and cultural museum with a vast number of objects of great historical value, which demonstrates the way of life and cultures of the various communities which have been inhabited the city for ages.

澳門博物館是一間展示澳門歷史和多元文化的博物館，館內的展品以其豐富和深刻的歷史和文化內涵，展示數百年來澳門的歷史變遷，講述來自不同國家、具有不同文化背景的居民在澳門和平共處的生活。

The Macao Museum is located in the Mount Fortress, which was built by the Jesuits in the early 17th century. For a long time, the Fortress was the city’s principal military defence structure where public access was restricted. In 1965 this Fortress was converted into the Meteorological Services and later opened to the public. Built on top of the Mount Hill, the Mount Fortress offers a panoramic view of the city. On its west is the Ruins of St. Paul’s. On 15th July 2005, the Historic Centre of Macao was officially listed as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. The Mount Fortress and the Ruins of St. Paul’s are significant historical monuments of the Centre.

澳門博物館坐落在澳門著名的歷史遺跡大炮台之上。大炮台於十七世紀初由耶穌會會士興建，在長達三個多世紀的時間裡一直是澳門防禦系統的核心。大炮台長期列為軍事禁區，直至1965年軍營改建成氣象台之後才開放為旅遊區。大炮台地處澳門半島的中心地帶，登上大炮台，整個澳門城區盡收眼底。大炮台西側緊鄰澳門另一處著名歷史建築 – 大三巴牌坊（聖保祿學院和聖保祿教堂遺址）。2005年7月15日，澳門歷史城區被聯合國教科文組織列入《世界遺產名錄》，而大炮台和大三巴牌坊是構成澳門歷史城區的重要歷史建築和遺跡。

Fortress and garden: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Macao Museum: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., last admission until 5:30 p.m. (closed on Mondays).

The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the fifteenth day of the eighth month in the lunar calendar.

每年的農曆八月十五日是中秋節。

Festive vibes permeate the town where main streets are decorated with colorful lanterns to welcome the Festival.

在節前，澳門的大街小巷紛紛掛上色彩繽紛的燈籠，迎接佳節的到來。

As one of the most-celebrated festivities in Chinese culture and so in Macao, the Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes a time for family reunion.Locals enjoy eating mooncakes and offer this sweet pastry as a gift to relatives and friends as a tradition for this occasion.

中秋節寓意團圓，澳門人很重視這個節日，親朋好友之間會互贈月餅祝賀。

On the Mid-Autumn Festival, families gather for a joyful dinner followed by a night out admiring the beautiful full moon.

在中秋節的晚上，家人相聚一起吃團圓飯，飯後到戶外賞月。

Others may enjoy a picnic in garden, by the lake or beach, having mooncakes and fruits in season under the moonlight while children play around with glittery lanterns in hand.

With the aim of promoting traditional wushu (Chinese martial arts) and gathering the greatest wushu heroes from all over the world, Macao will be staging yet another brand new large-scale sporting event that captures worldwide attention, the Wushu Masters Challenge, to be held from 11 to 14 August 2016.

宏揚中國傳統武術，匯聚世界武林群英，澳門城區，全球焦點，2016年8月11日至14日，在澳門將舉辦又一嶄新體育盛事 – 武林群英會。

This exciting four-day event comprises a great variety of wushu activities, ranging from traditional wushu performances, demonstrations and teaching, lion dance demonstration and experience, wushu forum, Chinese and Western Wushu Masters Extravaganza and Taolu competition. In addition, among the event’s highlights include Chinese and Western Masters Sanda Championship, Dragon and Lion Dance Championship, Wushu Parade featuring wushu characters, lion and dragon dance and Chinese mythological creatures, as well as the unmissable opening and closing ceremonies.

四天活動節目內容豐富，除了有傳統武術表演和示範及教授、龍獅示範及龍獅體驗、武術論壇、中外武術名家匯演和武術套路比賽等，還有活動重頭戲：中外散打擂台爭霸戰、龍獅爭霸、武術龍獅瑞獸巡遊，以及活動開、閉幕禮等。

The activities will be held in several popular spots in Macao, such as the Tap Seac Square, Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, Senado Square, Amizade Square, Iao Hon Market Garden and more, resulting in a carnival that incorporates elements of sports, tourism and culture.

The 5,800-square metres Exhibition Center plus its atrium accommodates 12 permanent galleries.

The galleries cover topics in Space Science, Fun Science, Children Science, Science Express, Robotics, Acoustics, Earth, Genetics, Eco- Conservation, Sport Health, Sport Challenge and Food Science.
